Biography

Mark A. Murphy has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison, worked for 11 years at Hoechst Celanese Corp. as an Industrial Chemist, where he conceived (in 1984) the BHC Ibuprofen Process that was one of the earliest and most famous “Green Chemical” inventions. He then obtained a J.D. at the University of Texas -Austin and became a patent attorney and eventually partner in three Intellectual Property law firms. He is currently semi-retired as the owner / operator of UVLAW Patents LLC.
